Woodhouse Activity Centre to kick off summer with tube slides, camping stays and more • Glam Adelaide

Hot on the heels of multiple wins at the SA Tourism Awards, Woodhouse Activity Centre has just announced some very exciting news.

Woodhouse Activity Centre has just launched its very own Club Woodhouse annual membership, perfect for the festive season as a Christmas gift for adventurous families and great timing with so many of Woodhouse’s summer school holiday highlights.

Club Woodhouse is an opportunity to receive all the experiences that Woodhouse has to offer for a whole year for just $170. The membership is a bargain if you’re a Woodhouse ‘regular’, costing less than three family day adventures. Plus, members receive discounts and other bonuses to keep the good times rolling.

Whether you purchase it for your own family or as a gift this Christmas, it’s perfect for an active family that loves to make memories that won’t contribute to landfill.

Nestled in lush Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills, Woodhouse Activity Centre is known for its outdoor
adventure activities on a 54-hectare bushland property just 25 minutes from Adelaide.

Why not head up for the Tube Slide where the Woodhouse Team will be dialling up the sprinklers that
keep the tracks running smoothly … for what they like to call their ‘Summer Spritz’ experience.

Now that the school holidays are around the corner, you can’t ignore the School Holidays UNPLUGGED offering which will be back for more ‘drop and go’ school holiday fun this summer, running for two weeks in January.

Woodhouse Activity Centre’s ‘Drop and Go’ day camps offer thoughtfully programmed adventures specifically designed with age-appropriate activities guaranteed to keep kids aged 5 to 12 screen-free, active and entertained for the whole day.

The program will feature a different and creative theme every day, incorporating so many adventurous outdoor activities including outdoor laser skirmish and ‘ice blocking’ (sledding down the hill on blocks of ice!).

Woodhouse isn’t forgetting about New Years Eve because it is still holding its traditional NYE celebration which has become a firm favourite for families wanting a unique celebration and a camping adventure to remember.

You’ll have access to the camping field, amenities, facilities and activities from 9am on your day of arrival to 5pm on your day of departure.

Whether you’re visiting for the day or settling in for an overnight stay, expect memorable screen-free fun for the whole family.

Take the Day Adventure option for unlimited access to the site from 9am to 5pm where you will climb, crawl, swing and slide your way through more than 30 obstacles on Challenge Hill, tackle a giant split-level maze, slide down two epic tube slides (running weekends and public holidays excluding Christmas Day), conquer the ultimate multi-dimensional outdoor bouldering challenge, negotiate orienteering and photo hunt courses, or have a round of disc golf (think golf with a frisbee).

For even more fun, pitch your tent (or pull up your van) at one of the unpowered sites or stay in one
of the family chalets with all-day activities included from 9am on your day of arrival to 5pm on your day of departure.

Woodhouse Activity Centre is open 365 days a year – yes, even Christmas Day!

There’s plenty of room for Christmas get-togethers with an adventurous twist for family and friends with a shared love of the great outdoors. Book your next summer adventure via Woodhouse Activity Centre’s website here and sign up for Club Woodhouse here.
