Nothing compares to the comfort of being in your own bed. It’s one of the biggest gripes we hear when camping or traveling off the grid. Oftentimes, the first thing to go when conserving space in favor of compactness in an overlander is sleeping space. But Sasquatch Expedition Campers figured it would do its part to help change the status quo.

Launched in 2021 with the rugged Smuggler model, the Colorado-based outfit adds a new camping trailer option to its range with the release of the Highland 60. Compared to the Smuggler, which was more of a cargo trailer, the Highland adds over 2ft to the overall length, 10” to the overall height, and an indoor sleeping compartment with a queen-sized memory foam mattress. The insulated interior also features a Propex heater, a roof vent, a trio of storage cabinets, and a pair of USB charging outlets.

Riding on BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires, the chassis features a proprietary coil and suspension system. The Highland also boasts “industry-leading storage” that includes 70cu.ft of space both inside and outside, not including the aluminum roof rack. The unit also features a kitchen with a stainless steel sink, a three-burner stove, and an advanced cabinet system. An exterior shower is available as well.
