Camping in a Porsche is possible. The German manufacturer indeed markets a roof tent, to be installed on several of its models. The Porsche 911 is of course compatible with this accessory, excluding GT, Cabriolet and Targa models. It can also be used with a Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, or even the Porsche Taycan.

Sized to accommodate two people, this Porsche roof tent is 2.58 meters long, 2.57 meters wide and 1.18 meters high when deployed. The floor of the tent measures 2.10 meters by 1.30 meters. If the car on which it rests is equipped with roof bars, the maximum weight it can hold is set at around 190 kilos. This maximum weight drops to 140 kilos without roof bars.

For the rest, this tent is waterproof according to Porsche. Its gray quilted interior lining provides strong insulation from the outside. The tent even has windows that can be opened to ventilate the interior, and a mosquito net is present to avoid being devoured by mosquitoes when camping in the great outdoors.

Just under €5,000 per tent
