The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks in collaboration with Tentrr have 56 fully outfitted campsites officially available for reservation throughout eight of Mississippi’s state parks.
Buccaneer State Park in Waveland is one of the state parks that received six of these fully furnished tents. The tents provide an easy, seamless, and comfortable outdoor experience.
These tents are fully equipped, ready-to-go campsites that are spacious with canvas wall tents, a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit to keep you warm.
Other amenities include a propane heater and a table with benches. Buccaneer State Park Director Stu Rayburn said, “The tents are elevated. They are fully carpeted. They kind of got the conveniences of a hotel room with the queen size bed. So, in addition to this tent, comes a pop-up tent that will sleep four people. So, you can get as many as six people in this tent. So, it’s just more of the conveniences that just a regular tent that you buy at Walmart might not provide.”
Reservations start at $85 per night for a single camp and $139 for a double camp.
