Gloucester Township Camper ‘Fully Engulfed’ During Sunday Fire

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Firefighters doused a camping trailer reportedly “fully engulfed” in flames during a Sunday afternoon blaze, authorities said.

The fire was reported on Little Gloucester Road around 4 p.m. in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township, Camden County firefighters wrote in a statement.

“The fire was quickly knocked down and brought under control with one 1 3/4″ hose line,” county fire officials said. “Squad Companies 88 and 86, as well as Quint 85, are currently overhauling the involved trailer and picking up equipment.”

No injuries were reported, however, the camping trailer was apparently decimated, per photographs provided by fire officials.
