MEDFORD, Ore. – Reservations are now available for Union Creek, Farewell Bend, Fish Lake, and Doe Point campgrounds.
Camping reservations can now be made for popular campsites in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest/High Cascades Ranger District.
Union Creek, Farewell Bend, Fish Lake and Doe Point can be reserved starting this Friday, June 17, 2022, by going online to rec.gov. These campgrounds provide reservable and first-come, first-served camping opportunities.
The ability to make reservations had been placed on hold due to administration issues.
“We expect increased visitation at our popular campgrounds as we start to experience more typical summer weather. At this time, we’re pleased to offer the option for our visitors to make reservations for their favorite places,” said District Ranger Dave Palmer.
The Forest Service said some services may be limited at some High Cascades recreation sites, though water will be available.
Reservations can be made at https://www.recreation.gov/
