South-Devon based Beverley Holidays – a group of three camping, touring and holiday home sites: Beverley Park, Beverley Bay and Beverley View – has raised funds for Rowcroft Hospice
As part of its fortieth birthday celebrations, the Torbay-based hospice, which helps to care for people with life-limiting illnesses, called on 40 local businesses to each raise £1,000 for the charity, and Beverley Holidays’ Entertainment Team was up to the challenge.
By hosting a series of fundraising fancy dress nights throughout the summer months, and asking its holiday home owners to support the charity at its annual Owners’ Party In The Park event, Beverley Holidays and its visitors smashed the £1,000 target, raising £3,088 for the hospice.
Entertainment Manager, Paul Farley, says,
As our chosen charity for 2022, we were thrilled to join up with Rowcroft Hospice for their fortieth birthday and show our support to such a brilliant local cause.
We were delighted to smash our target of £1,000 and go above and beyond for something that’s close to Beverley Holidays’ heart – a huge thanks to everyone for their kind donations.
Beverley Holidays will be celebrating a birthday of its own soon, with 2023 marking 65 years in business.
